1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using the HeirForge platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, you may not use the platform.
2. Services Provided
HeirForge provides an online platform that facilitates estate planning document preparation. All documents are reviewed, edited, and approved by a licensed attorney before finalization. The platform is a tool — your reviewing attorney provides legal judgment.
3. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years of age and a resident of a state supported by our platform to use our services. You must provide accurate and complete information during the intake process.
4. Account Responsibilities
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities under your account. Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access.
5. Payments and Refunds
Payment is required after reviewing your recommendation and signing the engagement agreement. All payments are processed securely through Stripe. Refund policies are outlined in the engagement agreement.
6. Document Execution
Documents generated through the platform must be properly executed (signed and witnessed) according to state law to be legally valid. HeirForge provides signing instructions but does not guarantee the validity of improperly executed documents.
7. Limitations
The platform currently supports estate planning for a single state. Complex estates or multi-state planning may require additional legal counsel. The platform does not provide tax advice.
8. Intellectual Property
The platform, its design, and underlying technology are the property of HeirForge. Your estate planning documents belong to you upon finalization.
9. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access for violations of these terms. You may close your account at any time. Finalized documents remain available for download for a reasonable period after account closure.
